Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.

PLANNED GIVING

Planned giving, or legacy giving, are terms that cover many kinds of charitable gifts, allowing you to make a lasting, positive impact on Tinicum that will continue far beyond your lifetime.

Your gift will be used to ensure the overall long-term strength of the organization, or, if you choose, for a specific use that you designate. Either way, all gifts will help deliver lasting benefits, including permanently protected landscapes, local farms and healthy food, significant wildlife habitat, and the preservation of Tinicum’s unique character.

Bequests are simple to arrange, reduce your taxable estate, and can take many forms, including:

  • Specific dollar amounts

  • A percentage of your estate stocks, bonds, or mutual funds

  • Non-conservation real estate

  • IRA designation

  • Life insurance policies

  • Tangible property or other estate assets

If you have already taken steps to include the Conservancy in your estate plan, please let us know. We would like to thank you, welcome you to our Legacy Club, and make sure that your specific wishes are known to us. You can, of course, remain anonymous if you choose.

For a confidential discussion about estate planning, please call Executive Director Jim Engel at 610-294-1077, or email him at JEngel@tinicumconservancy.org. Along with your tax and financial advisor, we can discuss how you can best support the Conservancy and gain financial benefits.

Defining your legacy is one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime. When you create or revise your estate plan, we hope you will include the Tinicum Conservancy among your beneficiaries.
